The Advanced Technology Group lives at the intersection of creativity and technology. This group is responsible for the design, development, and execution of new and future-looking products and technologies. They will conceptualize and prototype innovations shaping fan experiences, interactions, and personalization utilizing methodologies that include machine learning and artificial intelligence. In addition, ATG will evolve and improve current visual technology methods such as talent interaction, augmented and virtual reality, automated workflows, graphics platforms, and data automation.

You will design and develop new products for enhancing the experience and engage ESPN’s fans. This internship will test your acumen, broaden your skill set, and engage you with an evolving set of ideas, tools and technologies.

  • Develop site functionality using server-side templating and JavaScript

  • Maintain existing site code and prototype new features and functionality

Basic Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Web and Mobile.

  • Curious and motivated to research and learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building applications with Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

  • Mobile native application development using iOS, Android

Additional Information
  • The dates of this internship are June 2018 through August 2018

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship

  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Bristol, CT area

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

  • ​Must be at least 18 years of age
