Senior Digital Designer Digital

ESPN Marketing is looking for a Senior Digital Designer to design marketing and advertising creative for ESPN sport properties, ESPN brands and ESPN.com; including contextual ads, promotional special sections and branding elements. A strong proficiency in Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, and back-end coding for user interface is needed.

Responsibilities
Develop graphics for online advertising, collaborating with sport and brand marketing staff to create top flight digital creative consistent with ESPN’s quality and brand voice. The ideal candidate will have experience leading high end design projects from concept to completion at an agency, digital production company or media network, providing creative vision and direction to projects overall. Candidate will be able to produce back-end code for marketing projects. Design and develop new creative from existing print or on-air promos into interactive web banners, mobile banners, email blasts and landing pages. Build and update XML, Flash, ActionScript files. Utilize rich-media to enhance the end-users experience and interaction with the creative. Work closely with other designers and project managers to manage schedules and balance work load with priorities.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of professional experience, at senior level, designing for print and web.

Preferred Qualifications
Thoroughly fluent with digital tools such as Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, used in Mac OS. Strong knowledge of back-end coding such as HTML5, CSS, ActionScript, XML etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the demands and directions of the work are constantly changing. Ability to adhere to deadlines and communicate the issues around a job effectively, including strong communication and collaborative skills.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent
